33rd ANNUAL COLUMBIA RIVER CLASSIC
“The oldest continuously held race in the Tri-Cities”
Event Information:
This event features a 2-mile and 10-mile run in the park along the Columbia River with an awards ceremony following the race. Both runs begin at the Richland Community Center in Howard Amon Park. Race proceeds to benefit our local Habitat for Humanity
Registration:
October 23rd - Order long-sleeve 'sport dry' shirts by this date for race day pickup (by 9pm if registering on-line). November 2nd - Online and mail-in registration closes. (Please note that on-line registration closes at 9pm.) November 8th-Race Day registration and packet pickup for pre-registered entrants begins at 8:00 AM in the game room at the Richland Community Center.
ENTRY FEES:
For Runners 13 years and older
$14 - Race only (registered before November 2, 2008, (by 9pm if registering on-line))
$35 - Race with long-sleeve 'sport dry' shirt (registered before October 23, 2008 (by 9pm if registering on-line))
For Runners 12 years and under when registering with a parent/guardian
$0 - Race only (free registration with completed waiver from parent/guardian)
$21 - Race with long-sleeve 'sport dry' shirt (registered before October 23, 2008 (by 9pm if registering on-line))
$15 - Day of race registration (No shirts after October 23, 2008 or on race day registration)
Awards: Will be presented for the first three overall finishers, male and female in both races. Additional awards for top three places in each age groups include: 9 and under, 10-14,15-19,20-24 25-29,30-34,35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-64, 65+ Random Prizes after awards.
Water Stations: Will be only provided on the 10 mile run and will be located at roughly the 2.5, 5, and 7.5 mile points of the race.
Results: Will be posted on the club's web site at 3rrr.org.
