| Time: Race starts at 6:00PM (yup, an evening event!) Race starts and finishes in Howard Amon Park. This is the Fourth Event in the MultiSport Series Course Description: The race starts with a toasty 2 mile run along the foot paths north of Howard Amon Park. Upon completion of the first run, duathletes plunge into the cool Columbia River for a 1/2 mile swim…swimming approximately the length of the park. After emerging refreshed from the swim, duathletes embark on the second run, a 3 mile affair also following the foot paths going north of the park, and then returning to the “Fingernail Building” in Howard Amon Park. Entry Fee: $13 per duathlete Registration Deadline: To be pre-registered for The Aquaman Duathlon, your entry must be received by August 6th, 2008 (by 9pm for on-line entry). Late registration fees of $2 apply after this date. Race day registration will be available starting at 4:00 pm in Howard Amon Park On-line Registration: Until 9pm 8/12/2008 Clothing Option: Aquaman tank tops for an additional $10. Tank tops may not be available unless you pre-register. Age Categories: 13-18,19-24,25-29,30-34,35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-64,65-69,70-100 Race Day Schedule: On race day, arrive early and be prepared for the following: • 4:00 pm – Packet pickup and late registration starts • 5:30 pm – Mandatory pre-race meeting • 6:00 pm – Race start • 7:30 pm – Course closes Special Considerations: Please note the following: • Individuals ONLY, no teams • Wetsuits are allowed, but we don’t recommend them! • YOU need 2 pair of running shoes…or a crew member to run them to the second transition Questions: Please contact Eric Greager at sageg@charter.net or (509) 942-7137 Volunteers: We need lots of volunteers for all our multi-sport events.
