| Race Format: 5 km run; 30 km bike; 5 km run This is the SECOND Event in the MultiSport Series Where: Race starts and finishes at the Pasco International Cross Country Course on Road 36 (near the intersection with Argent Road) in Pasco, Washington. Course Description: The race starts with a run of the established 5 km course at the Pasco International Cross Country Course. The course is all dirt and sand trails, that wind through a variety of twists and turns, ups and downs. It’s a more challenging course than one might think at first glance, so come prepared! The bike course starts by heading south to Argent Road, over to Road 44, up the hill to Burden Road, a right turn on Road 68, a right on Clark Road, a right on Glade Road, back to Argent Road, and eventually back to the cross country course. Essentially a big loop around the Pasco Airport. Once back at the cross country course, racers repeat the first 5 km run to the finish line. Entry fee is $28 per duathlete or per team. Entry limit is 225 individuals and 35 teams. Please note: Mail-in registration is no longer available...you may register on-line ONLY - NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION Registration Deadline: To be pre-registered for The Fiasco in Pasco, you must enter by April 27th at 9pm. Late registration fees apply after this time. Race day registration will NOT be available. On-line Registration: Until 9pm 5/04/2010 ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS: We sympathize with life's uncertainties but it has become time consuming for race organizers to accomodate these requests. Please plan accordingly. Chip Timing: Timing chips will be used to record split and finish times. Timing chips will be distributed race morning at check-in. For: Milliseconds Timing Transponder Instructions A $95.00 replacement fee will be charged for unreturned timing chips. Clothing Option: Tech fabric shirt for $15. Clothing option may not be available unless you are pre-registered. Age Categories: 13-19,20-24,25-29,30-34,35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-64,65-69,70-100 Race Day Schedule: On race day, arrive early and be prepared for the following: • 6:30 am – Packet pickup starts • 8:00 am – Mandatory pre-race meeting • 8:30 am – Race start • 11:00 am – Course closes Special Considerations: Please note the following: • Road bikes recommended, mountain bikes are acceptable • Maximum of 2 people per team Questions: Please contact Eric Greager at sageg@charter.net with any race questions or Kristin Anderson skad@charter.net with questions pertaining to online registration.
